Happy Oscar Sunday! Is anyone else excited for the red carpet?! I barely saw any of the movies this year but I still can’t wait to watch. The Oscars always feel like the best fashion show of the year 🤩
But this post is about FOOD! We ordered sushi last Sunday and then we ordered Thai food last night so I’m only sharing our Monday-Friday dinners this week… but there are some good ones in here!
Monday 3/4 - Flank Steak, Mozzarella Potatoes and Asparagus
When I was looking through Nana’s recipe book, I found one called Patate Maritate: Potatoes married to Mozzarella 😂 Obviously I HAD to give it a go, and we loved it. I’m going to shoot it this week so stay tuned for the recipe soon! I served it with flank steak and asparagus.
Tuesday 3/5 - Vodka Sauce
I haven’t made vodka sauce in a long time so this was a TREAT. I really think it’s my favorite pasta dish ever -and it’s so simple to make!
Wednesday 3/6 - Asian Pork with Broccoli
This recipe was better the first time I made it and I’m not sure why - but it was still delicious. A great set-it-and-forget-it weeknight meal because it cooks in the oven for a few hours and then all you have to do at dinnertime is shred the meat and cook up some broccoli and rice. So easy!
Thursday 3/7 - Leftovers
We had leftover vodka sauce so I heated that up and made a simple romaine salad to go with it.
Friday 3/8 - Kitchen Cleanout Salad
Adam went out to dinner with his guy friends so I pulled together a salad with romaine, cucumber, baby peppers, chickpeas, feta, and Trader Joe’s chicken tenders. Delish!
