I feel like we’ve really gotten into it the past few Girl Talk sessions, so I thought it would be fun to keep this one a little lighter!
If you subscribed to my newsletter before I moved over to Substack, you might remember that I used to talk about what I read, watched, ate, shopped for, etc each week. So let’s bring that back today!
What I’m Reading: As you might have seen on Instagram, I just finished Funny Story by Emily Henry and it was adorable. It didn’t take my top EH spot, but I still really enjoyed it and you can read more of my thoughts here. Next up: Just For The Summer by Abby Jimenez!
What I’m Watching: Since our favorite scripted shows are on pause, I’ve been really leaning into reality tv. First, Summer House! I feel like a lot of people are saying this, but WOW this season has been addicting. Obviously the Lindsay and Carl drama was the biggest storyline, but this season also made me love Paige so much. Her confessionals are *definitely* hilarious, and her quips to West at the reunion were spot ON.
Adam and I also started Love Undercover on Peacock… we weren’t sure at first but now we need to know what happens 😂 It’s a dating show with 5 international soccer stars who go “undercover” to find love in Los Angeles. Because they aren’t nearly as famous here as they are abroad, they date women who don’t know who they really are in hopes of finding more authentic connections. It’s silly but fun.
What’s In My Cart: You seriously thought I wasn’t going to take advantage of Abercrombie’s Dress Fest?! Come on! I have this maxi, this active dress, and this citrus print dress in my cart. Oh, and I’m considering this Pride dress for the Taylor Swift themed Rod Tuffcurls concerts coming up. It gives Lover vibes, right?!
What I Can’t Get Enough Of: Now that it’s warm outside and we’re all showing more skin again, I feel the need to shout out the best body moisturizer ever: OSEA BODY OIL. Please don’t be scared by the word oil - it’s not greasy at all. Instead, it’s just deeply hydrating, it smells amazing, and it’s full of antioxidants and good-for-you ingredients. Can’t recommend enough.
What I’m Eating: I made affogatos with our Ninja Creami and Nespresso Vertuo last week and they were SO GOOD. Also, they’re still on sale and I highly recommend them both. I’m working on a review for our Creami because that’s how much we love it. It’s a total game changer if you like ice cream but want to control the ingredients to be healthier, adjust for allergies, or just have fun making ice cream at home!

This Hill House dress really is that girl. It’s so feminine and romantic, but because it’s cotton, it’s also so WEARABLE. I don’t know about you, but anything that’s machine washable is automatically more versatile in my book! I also own and love the mini version too. Swoooon.

Dyson products are still on sale at Walmart right now - including $150 the Airwrap and $120 off the Airstrait! I personally prefer the Airwrap for my thin and flat hair, but if you have curly or thick hair, the Airstrait is amazing because it dries and straightens your hair at the same time!
What to we think of the Traitors cast for Season 3?! Besides Sandoval, I think it could be good!
Since lemon prints are so popular this year, I gathered some of my favorites lemon dresses on the blog!
Also, how cute is this lemon bathing suit? Do I need it?
THIS is how you get me to move to the suburbs 😂
These daisy glasses are so cute - and they look so much like the Anthro Icon Glasses for less!
Anyone want to do puppy yoga?! Adding this to my summer bucket list!
I’m so late to commenting on this but I just had to say that Love Undercover sounds hilarious. It reminds me of a show that used to be on about undercover princes dating in America 😂
